Is vegan leather sustainable?

Vegan leather is produced artificially or from plant-based materials that try to copy real leather. Vegan leather is made of polyurethane and PVC. These materials are petroleum-based and plastic. Therefore, vegan leather is not completely eco-friendly leather.
